The Resource Manager will manage inhouse and outsourced resourcing for all potential and
assigned projects. The Resource Manager will work directly with Human Resources to facilitate
appropriate staffing across the Alaska region based on aggregate understanding of project
requirements. The Resource Manager will work with TerraSond Project Management staff to
assist in coordinating staffing and equipment needs throughout the company. The Resource
Manager must also ensure that project resourcing is managed to assure timely delivery and must
communicate to appropriate Project Manager resourcing issues that may impact schedule
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Coordinate with Project Management to assign employees to projects based upon their
skillsets, availability, and crew performance to maximize the effectiveness of the project.
Manage contract labor vendors via purchase orders and contract agreements to ensure
cost and utilization control.
Build, maintain, and communicate resource (employees and equipment) forecasts via a

resolution across all Alaska projects.
Manage resourcing forecasts reports for the Alaska region based on input from weekly

Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business
development activities as they relate to resourcing.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, and Project Management, is
3+ years resource management or project management experience.
Skills and Special Requirements/Licensing:
Proficiency in MS Excel, Project, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Maintain flexibility to handle multiple interruptions and adjustment to priorities
throughout the day.
Ability to solve complex problems.
Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed
under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines.
Work is performed in an indoor office environment and requires sitting and working with
computers for long periods of time. Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, long
days and evening/weekend hours to meet deadlines.
