TerraSond Announces New Survey Launch Built for Seattle Branch Office
The M/V Carta is a 27' aluminum work vessel, custom built for TerraSond by Workskiff in Burlington, Washington. TerraSond commissioned the vessel to be a versatile, trailerable boat to work the near-shore coastal waters, lakes and rivers of the Pacific Northwest. The vessel is based out of Seattle, Washington.

The M/V Carta can be used for:


  • Swath multibeam bathymetry

  • Geophysical and sub-bottom surveys

  • Towed or fixed mounted side scan

  • ADCP current transects and deployments

  • Bottom sampling and water quality sampling
