TerraSond Limited is Awarded Williston Reservoir SurveyMar 19, 2010 - TerraSond Limited

TerraSond Limited has been awarded a project by BC Hydro to map approximately 1500 kilometers of shoreline in the Williston Reservoir using multibeam hydrographic survey methods. The project area is a remote hydro-electric reservoir located in North Central British Columbia. The data will be used for a number of water use planning projects including debris, dust, erosion, wetland and tributary management. Hydrographic charts in the near-shore areas will also be developed from the data. The field surveys will be conducted to correspond with higher pool events in the summer and fall of 2010 and 2011. TerraSond will be working closely with the First Nations Tsay Keh Dene band and other local suppliers to carry out the survey.
