ODIM Brooke Ocean Announces Orders for ODIM MVP SystemsDec 31, 2007 - ODIM Brooke Ocean

ODIM Brooke Ocean is pleased to announce that it has received several orders for ODIM MVPs (Moving Vessel Profiler) over the past couple of months.

NOAA Office of Coast Survey (www.nauticalcharts.noaa.gov) has purchased an MVP30, to be delivered in 2008, to operate on their hydrographic survey launch. This adds to the previous MVP100 and MVP200 units that NOAA has deployed on the NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson and the NOAA Ship Fairweather respectively.

Terrasond, Alaska, (www.terrasond.com) has purchased an MVP200 for its survey operations. The MVP200 is scheduled to be delivered during the 1st quarter of 2008 and ready for Terrasond's survey projects for the 2008 season. TerraSond specializes in various types of hydrographic survey operations including single beam and multibeam surveys and sidescan surveys.

Nippon Kaiyo, Japan (www.nipponkaiyo.co.jp/measuring/) has issued an order for refurbishment and upgrades to their existing MVP300 system. This MVP300 system was purchased some years ago and has been regularly used for hydrographic and oceanographic survey operations. The upgrades are expected to take place over the coming weeks for delivery in early 2008.

The ODIM MVPTM technology optimizes survey data acquisition and post processing time as well as increasing sounding accuracy by providing near real time water column acoustic propagation parameters.
