Karl Woods Appointed General Manager, AlaskaFeb 1, 2011 - TerraSond Limited
Karl Woods has been appointed to the position of General Manager for TerraSond Limited's Alaska operations. In addition to his new position, Mr. Woods will continue to retain his former duties as Chief of Surveys. TerraSond is a terrestrial and sea floor mapping company with U.S. offices located in Alaska, Texas, and Washington State, and internationally in Brazil and Equatorial Guinea (Central Africa). Mr. Woods is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor holding an Alaskan license; he offers thirty-one years of experience in land and hydrographic surveys with the past eleven years as project/program manager. Mr. Woods' skills include offshore positioning, offshore hazard surveys, design and project condition surveys, dredge and marine construction support surveys, and cadastral and topographic land surveys. As TerraSond's Alaska General Manager, Mr. Woods will plan and direct all survey projects, oversee staffing, equipment allocations, and project contracts and specifications in Alaska.
