- Lead Hydrographer
- The Lead Hydrographer plans, conducts, supervises and manages hydrographic surveys from field to finish. He or she is responsible for overseeing data collection and processing efforts per project specifications and TerraSond Ltd standard operating procedures. Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Lead Hydrographer directs multiple projects from field to finish within required time frames, budgets and contract requirements. This person prepares proposals, creates project schedules, oversees and trains survey personnel, verifies the accuracy of collected data, and supervises the preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, progress sketches, records, documents and deliverables. This position requires residence in Seattle, Washington and requires a considerable amount of field work and travel, both nationally and internationally.
