Geophysical Studies and Reports
Geophysical studies are necessary to engineer the structures required to support renewable energy systems. Whether the energy comes from wave, wind, geothermal, OTEC or tidal or river power it must sustain the other types of energy to remain in position and produce.
We can provide an investigation of the structure of the seafloor or riverbed in order to support those engineering efforts.

- Yukon River, Alaska
- Our staff conducted a geophysical reconnaissance of the Yukon River in Alaska to identify a safe and potentially productive installation site for an in-stream hydrokinetic turbine. This information enabled the client to better understand the resource available to the community for power production and to establish a cost and engineering strategy for future build out.
