TerraSond's highly skilled and trained professionals have the ability to plan for and execute hydrographic, geophysical and land surveys that range from the very simple to the very complex. Data is collected and measurements are taken from both onshore and offshore and in waters ranging from shallow coastal to deep ocean. Using industry standard state-of-the-art equipment, TerraSond collects, processes, and stores a vast amount of oceanographic and hydrographic data.
Mapping & Charting
TerraSond's staff is highly skilled in office computations, GIS-based applications, AutoCAD, and many other surveying and mapping software programs. Our capabilities include raster to vector conversion, edge matching, attribute attachment to geographic features, georeferencing, utility mapping, data conversion in different GIS formats, plotting, and scanning.
TerraSond provides 2-D and 3-D mapping and charting of the ocean bottom for our clients. Our digital mapping services include surface modeling; orthophotography; cadastral mapping; hydrographic mapping; and map editing, finishing, and publishing.
We also prepare technical drawings and plans, which are used to build everything from roads and bridges, to port terminals, and to oil and gas pipelines.
Aerial Mapping
