TerraSond’s highly skilled and trained professionals have the ability to plan for and execute hydrographic, geophysical and land surveys that range from the very simple to the very complex. Data is collected and measurements are taken from both onshore and offshore and in waters ranging from shallow coastal to deep ocean. Using industry standard state-of-the-art equipment, TerraSond collects, processes, and stores a vast amount of oceanographic and hydrographic data.
Marine Positioning
TerraSond can provide oil and gas operators with the information they need to ensure that an oil rig, drill ship, or platform is at the best, safest location.
We regularly meet the requirements of rig site surveys, utilizing state-of-the-art side scan sonar, DGPS positioning and navigation systems, and sub-bottom profiling. Data can be processed on board our vessels or sent from the survey vessels by satellite telephone for office processing and a rapid presentation of results and reporting.
Dredge Positioning Support
We have experience with positioning barges used for various projects. We can provide instrumentation for the barge, support vessels and also working equipment onboard the barge including cranes, backhoes or drag arms.
